select row from gridView

Question

Hi I'm trying to make a selectable row from a gridView to insert directly some values to another table user will be registered to selected event by clicking to Register column value.. it will be stored on Reg table taking ID & name from user table as well as Regolator & Location from event table can you help me to do this function ? thanks

what about selecting a cell value from another table ? need to select customer ID where customer name is = session[UserName]
