select statement in sql

Hi
i have some problem in select stataement
i have 3 record in table like
ID        Name            Regdno

1           sameer         001
2           vivek             002
3           abhisek         oo3

but i want a query which will be give me the record like

1   sameer(001)
2   vivek(002)
3    abhisek(003)
like this format . how is it possible ? in sql statement.

plz help me Thanx.

Try like this select id as ID name + '(' + regdno + ')' as Name from yourtable
