selected Index Event not working in asp.net

Question

I am using MS Access Database i have 7500 data in MS Access DB due to data Selectedindex Event not firing when i remove 1000 row from data its working why event not working on 7500 data ???

on bulk data (7000) event isnot working but on less data event working why??? data is coming from sql server 2008

Is data come from databse and you assign data to drop down list> If yes then please check values of list items. This might be occured due to same value. always use dropdownlist.selectedValue when you want to assign value to other variable. set AutoPostBack=True to ur dropdownList
