SelectedIndexChanged event of Dropdownlist not fire

hi all .I have a tab panel in which i have two dropdownlist country and state. state dropdown will fill after selected index change of country.i have set autopost true of country dropdown bt selected index change event not fire.plz help me

Is there any validation control on form? If is there then set dropdownlist causesvalidation property to false or take all validation group.
