Self join is very useful in the case where there is a need for join in a single table itself. Hi Manish Self - Join is joining a table to itselfconsidering each as individual tables usually with an alias name to differentiate each other. Generally we will write Self-join like this SELECT a.col_name b.col_name.. FROM table1 a table1 b WHERE a.col_compared = b.col_compared; Here the alias name for table1 is a and b respectively..
