Self join is very useful in the case where there is a need for join in a single table itself. Hi Manish, Self - Join is joining a table to itself,considering each as individual tables usually with an alias name to differentiate each other. Generally, we will write Self-join like this, SELECT a.col_name, b.col_name.. FROM table1 a, table1 b WHERE a.col_compared = b.col_compared; Here the alias name for table1 is a and b respectively..
