Sending automated reminder Email from Sql Server

Question

Hi All am working on Travel Domain IT Companyin that i work on Flight Module. I save date of travelflight departure timepassenger information like emailID  mobile no etc in database. My task now is to send a reminder Email and SMS to passenger 24 hrs before his departure time.How i can do this .I am using Asp.netc# and Sql server 2008. Thanks in Advance Vishwas

Hi Vishwas use timer control in timer tick event read the departure date time from the database DateTime dt=DateTime.Now-Departure DateTime; u can get diff of datetime.. compare the diff DateTime. if(dt==24Hour) { //Your Email sending code...... } Thanks & Regards Ravindra T C
