sending encrypted data?

Hi A user type his/her user name and password in a webpage and we validate it in server. The question is how this username and password is sending to server? Surely it gone throught httprequest but I want to know should we encrypte it or something like that? tnx

Hi When ever you are sending any information over the net which is very secured then its better to encrypt. In your case you have UID and Password so its worth to encrypt the using predified utilities in .Net Framework. Thanks -- Vj http://dotnetvj.blogspot.com

It does not encrypt it by default. You have to specify the encryption yourself and use algorithms like what bechir stated above.
