I have been stuck up with a weird problem. I have a windows based application that sends fax messages. Currently this feature is working fine, if my application is deployed on the same machine on which the fax printer is installed. But i have a new requirement that Fax printer is installed on a Windows 2003 server, where that fax printer is shared on the network. So i created a link to that remote fax printer by adding a network printer through "Add Printer" option in "Printer & Faxes" tool in the control panel. My application connects to this remote machine successfully, but when it tries to send a fax using that remote fax printer my application gives an exception stating: "Unspecified error". I tested this scenario using Windows XP and Windows 2000 professional(Client on which my .NET application is deployed) and Windows 2003 Server(Server on which fax printer is installed).
This is really important !!!
So does anyone have any idea regarding this issue?
