Serialize error

Question

hi i created MVC application with entity framework. from the code every thing saving properly after hosting to server getting the fallowing error A circular reference was detected while serializing an object of type 'System.Data.Metadata .Edm.AssociationType'

Hi Ravi  In your Global.asax Application_Start method add this line: GlobalConfiguration.Configuration.Formatters.JsonFormatter.SerializerSettings.ReferenceLoopHandling = Newtonsoft.Json.ReferenceLoopHandling.Ignore;
