SerialPort RS232 Communication

Question

Hi All,

 

I need to communicate with an RS232 device  and send data in this format

<01><LEN><SEQ><CMD><DATA><05><BCC><03>

 

And read in this format

 

 <01><LEN><SEQ><CMD><"DATA"><04><STATUS><05><BCC><03>

 

Can anyone help me with a vb code to send sample data to the device and read responds urgently
