Question

Hi i need to have three simulation files on a server. These are programs that will run when the client chooses. The client needs three buttons which when clicked will run the appropriate file. any help appreciated.

This sounds like homework. Did you have an actual question? It seems to me that you're telling us that what you have to do is write a client with 3 buttons each one sending a different command to the server or the same command with a different parameter then have the server run the simulation program that was requested. What part of this do you need help with? Is this all the instruction you were given? Your subject is server/client but you don't even mention what type of distributed computing you're using. Sockets? Remoting? SOAP webservice? Web?
