Server.MapPath(string) will return the physical path of the directory name that you pass as an parameter. There are two ways of accessing any file or directory in asp.net one is the Physical Path and other is Virtual Path . All you have to do to get the physical path of a directory/file is pass their name/virtual path as a parameter in Server.MapPath.
