Session in .ashx file

Question

I want to assign a session value in a .ashx file & use that session in .aspx file. how can i do this? Thanks..

hi I think using the current http contex object you can access the session object. also you have to implement IRequiresSessionState into your handler class like public class Handler : IHttpHandler System.Web.SessionState.IRequiresSessionState hope this will help you.

you can do it like this Steep-1) include namespace Using System.Web.SessionState Step-2 ) Implement IRequiresSessionState into your Ashx class e.g public class ServeRequest : IHttpHandler IRequiresSessionState Step-3) Http.Current.Context.Session[key]=value; use Session[key] in your aspx file to get the value from the session.
