Set Academic year from date picker to textbox

Question

Dear all genius kindly help me I am beginner in C# windows application: In my current school project I want to set an academic year. From the datepicker start and end date of the academic year could be picked and in the textbox the starting year and the last two digit of the end year should be shown. Below is the picture example: I had been looking all over google from past weeks but could not get any please help me. Thank you in advance.

Hey you are writing code in Load event. In load event both date time picker set to current date. Just write same code in ValueChanged event of both picker

Mr. Ranjit it doesn't throw the error but doesn't give the result I am looking for. My textbox doesn't receive the last two digit of the year from datepicker2 . Here is the code: private void test_Load(object sender EventArgs e) { String str = dateTimePicker2.Value.Year.ToString().Substring(2 2); textBox1.Text = dateTimePicker1.Value.Year.ToString() + - + str; } and here is the screen shot : Please help this is really important for me. Sorry that's a spelling mistake just change SubString(22) to Substring(22)

Dear @ Ranjit I am using your code in the form laod event but it is showing the error - 'string' does not contain a definition for 'SubString' and no extension method 'SubString' accepting a first argument of type 'string' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) here is the code I am using it: private void test_Load(object sender EventArgs e) { String str = dateTimePicker2.Value.Year.ToString().SubString(2 2); textBox1.Text = dateTimePicker1.Value.Year.ToString() + - + str; }
