Setup and Depoyment with Database

Question

HI Frnds,

i want to deploy and setup an application in C#.net where i have an Database(only one table) as Sql server. so when i create an setup file in the C#.net and install in the Client side i am getting problem . so can anyone say me about deployment process in .NET where i am using Sql Server as my Database

If you have just One Table Database then use SQL lite . its very light database and No need to install addition package to access it :)

Its better not to install the database for all the client. As you have mentioned there is only one table just go with XML file. That will solve your problem. I hope this will work. Saravanakumar

why do you need to deploy DB with your application to every client, its not a very good architecture. all client machines will require a very strong machine and you will require to install SQL Express on every machine... better idea is to split the setup into DB and Client single DB and multiple Clients connecting to it.
