Share link (facebook)

Question

Hi How to share link along with content ? how to show some text rather than url of link . here when i click on content it should display website (shared link) .  can anybody help me plz ..

Vidya it helps to put all the important information for a question into the body of the post; in other words it would help to say in your question that you are asking about Facebook instead of just putting Facebook in the subject. When we answer questions we do not always look at the subject to understand the question. So I think Karthik misunderstood the question because Karthik did not see that the question was about Facebook.

Hi Vidya You mean to display text like Google shared and the url should be http://www.google.com right? I hope you are using linkbutton for that then simply on text write Google shared or anything else and give postbackurl as  http://www.google.com . It would get display like Google shared

HI Karthik my requirement is shareing link and content on facebook . Here the link should not display to users. indirectly user will click on content (which shared by another user) it has to open new tab with actual shared link .. did u understand my requirement ?

i created one website with the name facebookexamples. the file path of website is like http://localhost:2171/facebookexamples/Default.aspx when i click on share button it is displaying above path in the facebook  but what i want is  i want to display some text rather than path when i click on text it has to open new tab with this url ( http://localhost:2171/facebookexamples/Default.aspx -- means iam hiding url of website to users)
