Sharepoint 2010:Cannot connect to the configuration database

Question

All the services and inetmgr webapplications are running properly ,i dont why my sharepoint 2010 centernal administration is not working.could any one help me to overcome this problem.

1. Please check the connectivity between sharepoint and SQL server. 2. Please check whether the SQL related services are up and running. 3. Check whether the SP config database went into corruption/suspect mode. This you can view in SQL management studio. Check whether you are able to expand the sharepoint config DB and able to look into the available tables, views etc... if you don't find the expand(+) symbol for the sharepoint config DB then it is corrupted. Either you need to restart the SQL services or run SQL commands to bring it back to normal state from suspect mode. please look at http://nikpatel.net/2011/03/02/sharepoint_config-suspect-mode-cannot-connect-to-the-configuration-database-error/
