SharePoint Online Migration for WSP and Event Recievers

Question

we are migrating 2013 sharepoint sites to online sites what is the best approach to migrate the event recievers ??

and also we require to know how we can go about deployment of WSPS??

If you will go through any third party tool then you can't migrate custom code so you have to rebuild your custom code and deply it again in 0365 . You should use Client object model to develope all those thing .

Hi Pradeep When you are migrating to SharePoint Online we can only deploy Sandbox solutions (CSOM - WSPs) and not Farm Level solutions (Server Side Code - WSPs). You may need to rewrite the Server Side Codes to Client Side Object Model (CSOM) similarly for the Event receivers. Please go through the below links for better understanding.
