Question

Please can some one briefly explain how the software used in supermarkets to sell product works. i will be more than glad if one could be more detail in the technical aspect of such system and also the kind of DBMS used and some advice to help me decide cos am about to implement one in my supermarket Thanks.

1. My thought try to use MySQL database . Becuz it is a licence free DataBase. 2. Develop a C# Winform Application for billing and other process. 3. You can use ASP also. But it takes lot of time for developmentt. C# winform is a easiest way. 4. Spilt the module as following Stock management (insertdeleteupdate item details) Billing Reports 5. For reports you can use RDLC.. No problem with MSAccess while you access the DB from one system.. if you trying to access the same DB from more than one system at time surely you will face the problem...
