Show progress bar until HttpClient response not come

Hello Friends

I want to implement progress bar in desktop application.

it show progress until httpclient response is not come after responce progress get stop and bar get hide

how will i implement this ?

Which framework are you using? WinForms and WPF they all have different implementations of progressbars and the HttpClient objects remain same. In the WPF framework you can use ProgressBar to show the current progress of your application's process. The fact that HttpClient object has to take care of is the just the download of the online resource. That can be handled like this progressBar.Visibility=Visibility.Visible; using (varclient= new HttpClient()){ //Settheresourcesbaseaddressetc. client.GetAsync( path ); varresponse=client.Result; //Gettheresult progressBar.Visibility=Visibility.Collapsed; //Hideprogressbar. } These properties were taken from the ProgressBar object of WPF framework (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.controls.progressbar(v=vs.110).aspx) you can use these properties and show and hide the progressbar. In the above code the bar is shown when the process starts and it hides as soon as the download finishes (response has been taken).
