Shrink SQL Database

Question

I had made an application in wpf and use SQL server 2012. The thing is I had made some entries from front end and deleted but the physical size of the database remains the same. How can I release the unnecessary space from it.

Under normal day-to-day circumstances one typically shouldn't expect to see physical files affected after few INSERT s and DELETE s. The .mdf and .ldf files of SQL Server are the tiny file systems of sort on its own and usually developers are not expect to micromanage it.
