Simple Countdown Timer

Question

Hi guys I have googled all day and come up with nothing can anybody provide me with full code for a countdown timer? All I want is that when I press a button a timer will start the time will be displayed in a label and countdown from 30 seconds. Then once it hits 0 it will stop. Can anybody provide me with that code please?

Not sure exactly what you want to do but normally a timer would be better using client side code (ie javascript) otherwise you'll be holding onot the server connection during the timer events. The Java script code is a follows: function countdown(){ count--; writenumber(count); if (count>0){ Id = window.setTimeout(countdown();1000); } } The 1000 represents a 1 secong delay Hope this Helps
