Question

Volt Technical Resources has an approx. 1 year contract position open at the Software Giant in Redmond, Washington for a Software Design Engineer in Test.

You will be working on key workflow technology that will push the competitive envelope and amaze Developers and enterprise customers! Responsibilities include:

• Conducting performance bottleneck analysis, prototyping and drive that information back into the product.

• Developing the stress coverage.

• Working with customers and other member of the team to develop and optimize customer scenarios.

• Delivering and proving performance and stress release criteria for each major milestone.

Requirements:

Experience with the following is required:

• SQL, .NET Framework, managed code, C# / C++, COM and Web Services.

• Qualified candidates should have proven experience and knowledge of software testing and the product development cycle.

• Excellent problem solving skills and a strong inclination towards software development and testing are required.

• You must be motivated and driven to push changes and improve quality and be able to clearly communicate the findings and improvement to the product.

• The candidate should be experienced and familiar with performance analysis methodology with demonstrable high level language skills (C, C++, C#, etc.).

• A BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred.
