Volt Technical Resources has a contract position open for a highly motivated Software Test Engineer in Redmond, Washington who has strong programming and testing knowledge to help this company test the latest in E-Commerce applications. This team will be utilizing cutting-edge web technologies and therefore requires a candidate who possesses strong problem solving skills, good project management skills and the ability to communicate and interact across teams. Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years professional experience in software testing.
  • Strong coding experience using C#.
  • 2+ years experience testing ASP and ASP.NET applications.
  • Experience with API and web automation frameworks and techniques.
  • Experience with test methodologies and tools development.
  • Excellent debugging and code inspection skills.
  • Strong knowledge of relational and multidimensional database technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior participation in an entire product development life cycle is desired.
  • A BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience is required.

The successful candidate must also have the ability to consistently provide high quality feedback on product readiness, to assess testing requirements and verify proper testing coverage and procedures, to work both independently and collectively in a team environment and take pride in their work.
