Hi In This below code objReportsDTO.EndDate = Convert.ToDateTime(txtToDate.Text.Trim() != string.Empty ? txtToDate.Text.Trim() : null); Getting this error Server Error in '/TOLLPLUS' Application. String was not recognized as a valid DateTime. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.FormatException: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.

But Madhavi as per my understanding you should not use TextBox control for TODATE where as DateTimePicker is already available. Also DateTimePicker is more user friendly. When we are designing any UI then we must care about more user friendly application.

It looks like txtToDate.Text data is not correct date format and when Convert.ToDateTime() trying to convert text value it is throwing exception. Secondly make sure that you have always correct value other wise as per your it will try convert null value to DateTime which will throw you exception. In order to resolve your problem please below code: objReportsDTO.EndDate = ((txtToDate.Text.Trim() != string.Empty) ? DateTime.ParseExact(txtToDate.Text.Trim() dd/MM/yyyy CultureInfo.InvariantCulture) : null); As per above code your text box value should be 30/12/2015. If it is different in your textbox value then you need to change the format here. If it doesn't resolve your solution then provide what is the value you are getting from Textbox.
