Sort particular records in jquery datatable asp.net mvc.

Question

Hi I am using jquery plugin of 1.11.1 .js file I am able to fill the jquery datatable by mvc repository pattern and got the sorting and paging perfect but the problem is: i am presenting 10 records in one page and my client needs sorting on those ten records which means sorting should restrict to that 10 records which are displaying in the jquery datatable. Please help me if you have any answers references also appreciated and encouraged. Thank you. Sai Shanthan.V

Hi The link whatever i provide suits ur scenario.just click on the Filter current page button. It will sort the values whatever displayed in the page1.In your scenarioIt would sort only first 10 records on the current page. If you find the solution then it's great. By Arjunan

Thanks for your reply Mr.selvam i achieved this scenario in this example datatable is able to show 10 records per page my question is to have sorting on these 10 records only.Remaining records shouldn't sort.
