Speed advatage/benefit in enterprise edition

does the speed of our website increase if we host our database on enterprise edition instead of express edition?

Expression version also allows only one connection while Enterprise can have 100 or more connections. Expression version is good for development and single user only, and can be used as MS-Access.

hi Suhani, There are data limitation in Express edition elsewhere in Enterprise edition no limitation for data. :)

ok! Suhani. According to me, if you will access the database on same pc by express edition it will also work faster as you said about enterprise edition. Lets other suggest regarding the same. :)

what I have got to know from my search is that, express edition can use only one CPU, whereas enterprise edition can use multiple.So, I thought it can make increase in speed while fetching data from db on dynamic websites.

I don't think so, because I never seen such words 'speed' increases when we use enterprise instead of express.
