Speed up my application

Question

Hi I have developed my application with huge GDI operations. So while loading and operation performance is very slow. Can any one give suggestion to increase my application performance?

Hi Jegan Priya Since you focused on GDI you may have rendering performance that would cause the application delay. You can enable double buffer ( In WPF  it enabled by default) and allow user paint and wm paint by using the following code snippet. So you may have better performance in your applications. this.DoubleBuffered = true; this.SetStyle(ControlStyles.AllPaintingInWmPaint | ControlStyles.UserPaint true); Regards Selva Ganapathy K
