split file name from folder and find that filename wise id

hi i have create folder for d colon that folder include 5 pdf file here. pdf file name is lb4521.pdf lb452122.pdf...i split and display only lb452122 how it please reply if possible pdf file name wise find id from database.

I assume your employee id is 452122. string [] filePaths = Directory .GetFiles ( @your folder name ); foreach(string s in filepath) { if(s.contains(452122)==true) { do stuff here... } }
