splitcontainer and mdi form inside panel2

Question

Hello i would like to create a new gui using: * splitcontainer * treeview * menubar in panel1 from the sc the treeview will be placed on the right(panel2) i would like to create a mdi control that holds multiple forms. when i click on node2 form2 will be placed in the mdi control inside splitcontainer.panel2 How can i make this work i tried lots of things but nothing realy works I would like to keep the mdi functionality: * cascading windows * minimaze windows Can someone please help me out on this 1 THX

Well forget the split panel an mdi container has to be a form with its IsMdiContainer property set to true. You can still do want to want to do without much bother. Put your treeview in the mdi form and then dock it left. Add a plain splitter control to the form; it will attach itself to the right side of the treeview. At run time when you drag the splitter it will resize the treeview. When you add child forms use something like this (and you can do it from whatever event handler you want to use): In this case when you click the treenode it adds an instance of LittleBrother as a child form to the mdi form (this).
