Hi all I need your help. How to do the below by code in C#: - How to know if exists a SQL Server. - if exists how to know if exists an especific Data Base - How to create a Data Base by code. May be is hard to explain but I just want a link or a document. If someboody has a link post it please. Hi How to know if exists a SQL Server. try { ConnStr = data source=mine;user id=you;password=me;initial catalog=ourdb;; conn = new SqlConnection(ConnStr); conn.Open(); } catch(SqlException sqe) { MessageBox.Show(No DB Found); } if exists how to know if exists an especific Data Base Well the above itself does the same. ourdb in the initial catalog refers to the database Not sure of the 3rd q. irfan
