Hi Manish There is no specific answer to this question. You have to search and check because there are different way like optimizing queries indexing views and all that. So each queries can be optimized in different way say If Exist(Select * from dbo.Product) query so this query can be written in this way as well If Exist(Select 1 from dbo.Product) and the second query will be faster than first one. Dont use Nvarchar until your application doesnt support multilanguage. So All these performance improvement is scenario based and application specific. SO go through blogs and articles and apply hands on than only you will able to understand.

hello @manish if you want to take a practical knowledge then for better performance of database you should have a good knowledge of sql concepts like joins index views unions and all other concepts these only achieved by practice... and better performance of sql server you should have a knowledge that how database and server work then you can increase your performance ... These can be achieved only by practices for this you can read some articles.........
