SQL server query

consider there are two row with same records ...ex id name salary 1 x 1000 2 x 1000 how can we delete only one record.....after delete the table like this id name salary 1 x 1000

Hi try like this DELETE FROM YourTable WHERE id NOT IN (SELECT MIN(id) FROM YourTable GROUP BY namesalary) Regards Iftikar
