SQL-C# how to add navigator?

How can i have data navigator in asp.net? i need an idea? will the idea of the buttons work?

For that you have to put two buttons Next and Previous and one counter variable for limit 10 records in page. When first time load it will select first 10 records like limit 10 in select query and start with 0. After that you have to increment counter variable by +10. In next button you have to fire Query for next 10 records. which start with counter variable and limits upto 10. In Previous button you have to fire Query same but counter variable have to decrement by -10. (Ravi D. Sangtani)

Hi Ravi and thanks for the reply yeah i have paging in my gridview but can i have exactly a separate navigator in the page to delete and manage data? i mean as we have it in windows forms can i create a control to use it instead of navigator? if so how? and what code? (algorithem).

Hi Hanif Hefaz You can make gridview property to AllowPaging=true. and generate enevt gridview1_PageIndexChanging and bind your grid in this event also. I think this will help you. (Ravi D. Sangtani)
