Question

I want a program code i.e. A user enter his/her name on console and it will show his/her name as output in the form of Stars. like user name is Parveen. Outpur:- Parveen becone in the form of stars????? ****** * * * * ****** * * * * * Its only P. Like this;

This is one of the good puzzles :) . I am going to try it out. Meanwhile if you can do this - Try converting your text to bitmap image (hold that image into memory - don't write it to disk) Use that image and try converting that image to ASCII art and see the magic. I am going to follow this approach and will try to work on that.

Looks like a home-work assignment. But interesting one anyway. The first thing comes to mind is an array of two dimension arrays. Each 2d array to store where to show star and where to keep it blank. May be just 0s and 1s. Start container array with 0 and after reading each entered char find it's ascii value and use that - 65 as an index. For example: Capital A has ascii value 65 so 65 - 65 = 0 which is first element in container array. For simplicity first convert all chars to upper.
