Starting a career in the ASP .NET

i work as a manaual tester with a IT firm with 1 year of experinace.I want to switch to development  in ASP .NET.I have a clear understanding of OOPS principle.Kindly suggest me upto which level i have to learn C# and  the apporach to get  proficency and get a new job in development domain
