Status Bar question???

Question

Hi All I have a status bar on my form and two of my panels are to show the Number Locks key & the Caps Lock key if they're pressed. I know how to update the panel if the keys are pressed while working in the form. What I don't know how to do is determine if the keys are pressed when you first open the app. How do you check to see if the keys are pressed in the form Load event?
