how to store images in sql server and display it into the gridview in c# window application..??

INSERT [dbo].[picturepath] ([ID], [Name], [Picture]) VALUES (N'D0002', N'Dr. A. K. Singh', N'~/Userdocs/_D0002_blog4.jpg'); insert into picturepath(ID,Name,Picture) values('D1001', 'Akash' , '~/picture/abc.png'); Both are giving error in columnName.. How to insert this??

Okay. It's not simple and straight forward to directly insert the Byte[]. What you can do is to store the path of the Image in each record and display the same in the GridView. Thanks, Prawin

i dont want to insert the image from the form instead i want to store the images manually into the database and then those images will be displayed on the form..

Two things.. 1) Store Image data into SQL Database - You didn't mention about about the Image Source. I'm assuming that the images are stored in the file system. Please following the below steps. 1.a) Read the Image Content using System.IO and store the data in Byte[]. 1.b) Pass the Byte[] to the Stored Procedure 1.c) In the stored procedure, save the data to the database. You need to have a column with the datatype "Image" in your table for storing the Image data. 2) Display Image in Grid View (Windows App) - Please refer https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/z1cc356h(v=vs.100).aspx Hope it helps, Thanks, Prawin
