stricting user to enter data in text box

Question

Hi!!
I am building an application using VB .NET and i'm using ajax toolkit too
My problem is i want to restrict user not to enter text as that text box will be filled with calender extender selected date

if i'm making it as read only field than i'll not be able to enter date which i'm entering through calender extender My requirement is the text box should be filled with selected date in calender only user could not enter anything else i m inclluding the code file

You can either do this through the properties of the textbox by setting the Enable to false or in ajax you can write Enabled=false for that textbox. What I think you need is to set the ReadOnly to True.
