Hello Friend This issue mostly occurs when in the procedure input variable or table's column name your size which you have specified is less than the data which you are passing to that column or procedure input variable. For eg: create procedure prcGetEmployee ( @userName varchar(10) ) as begin select * from employee where userName=@userName end Over here i created a procedure with one input variable named @userName with size as 10 bytes but while the procedure if i pass more than 10 bytes then the following error will come. exec prcGetEmployee 'vishalgilbile@rediffmail.com' over here the @userName variable size is crossed which results in an error.
