what is string in C#?? im little confuse at this topic ?

A string is a sequence of unicode characters which has a fixed length. It's also possible for a string to a have a zero length in which case it is known as an 'empty' string. Strings are immutable. This means that once created they can't be changed. Methods which appear to change a string such as Replace or Insert do in fact create a new one. 'string' is a C# alias for the .NET Framework class System.String. So as long as you have this 'using' directive in your code file: using System; you can use 'string' or 'String' interchangeably.
