Summing up values in a listbox

Question

I created a programme where values will be added to a listbox and there is also a button to delete selected values. But I do not know how to sum the values remaining in the listbox. Hope to get some help. Thanks.

That suggests that either: 1. There are items in the listbox which are not numbers; or 2. There are items in the listbox which are numbers but can't be parsed as such because (for example) they contain thousand separators. Try this instead: double total = 0.0; foreach (object item in listBox1.Items) { string itemStr = item.ToString().Replace( ); double number; double.TryParse(itemStr out number; total += number; } label1.Text = total.ToString();
