System Details Application

Question

I am an IT Support Engineer.I am going to develop an application which should have all the details about every systems in my company which has details like Serial NumberSystem Config detailsMonitor S.no etc. I am confused where to develop windows application to maintain this or Website to maintain this.Which one would be effective? Firstly you are going to develop internal application. Windows Application: This type of application is standalone application means you can access single machine. It generates exe files and you need to install it. Web Application: This type of application is global application means you develop the app and hosted in webserver then everybody can access it. Here you don't need to go every machine and install it. Choose as per your requirement: If only 2-3 will work on that application than Windows is best one. If every one want to use the app then Web application is best.
