Table Column values

Question

Hi i have employee table in that table no. of columns are there in that columns i have Email column. ex: Emali ab@gmail.com cd@gmail.com bs@gmail.com fs@yahoo.com cs@yahoo.com sd@yahoo.com dhj@hotmail.com du@hotmail.com those are the records. i want to fetch all gmail records in one group and yahoo mails in one group and hotmail in one group. how can i fetch? thanks vijay

Hi. please follow nitin comments but for each group you need to hit db each time and retrieve the data use it. thanks.

The term group used by you is not quite clearly understood by me. I will assume that you mean to say in one go or in one result set. Clarify if my understanding is wrong. You can use following script. Please modify table name column name as appropriate. declare @mail_domain varchar(500) = '@gmail.com'; select * from tblEmployee where email like '%' + @mail_domain + '%'; Hope it helps!
