table layout panel

Question

I want to develop a project in which i have to design a cash memo. I use a table layout panel for designing it. But i cant take input from this panel. can anyone tell me how to take inputs from table layout panel control? It should be mentioned that i am working on a desktop application. Also any suggestion to design and handle a cash memo easily?

Thanks sutish jee that tutorial is really helpful. but there is a still some problem. as you see my desired design i need to calculate the values as i mentioned. but when i pressed a button to generate event to calculate then if anyone of the respective textfield is empty then my whole application is out of order and say some error. can you help me to fix it up? then i will really obliged to you...thanks in advance..

Many of us don't know what a cash memo is. It would be better if you described what you need to do in terms of what it needs to look like and then ask how to do that instead of assuming we know what a cash memo is. I searched the internet for cash memo and found many applications. Have you done that? You should at least be able to find examples of what others have done. A good place to start is to design the data. What tables do you need? What fields in the tables? Then decide what the UI needs to look like. If you don't know how to design the data then it would be best if you get a good book about C# and databases. You should at least read relevant articles. There are many articles and sample programs that will help you; many that are not about cash memos specifically but still very useful for understanding databases and forms for databases.
