Technology or Management

Hi All I am having 5 years of experience in Software industry as an .net devloper. New technologies are on way As I gain experience. Is it good to learn new technologies or Concentrate on team management and Project management?

Thanks for your suggestion Mahesh !!! I would like to go into management......want to change the ration 20%techincal : 80%management. which is the best place to start for learning management.Pls guide

I think this question is for yourself. Do you like being a manager or coder/tech guy? It all start with you. Obviously being in management you will have to learn new things like PMP certifications and so on. You may also need to have gain more experience. Good luck!
