text box validation

i using asp.net with c# coding i have to check text box validation in run time. if total qty 1000 i restrict the user not entered more then 1000

Incidentally if you would be happy with a maximum quantity of 999 rather than 1000 then a better solution would be to set the TextBox's MaxLength property to 3.
