textbox accept only number and dot(.) operator

hii condition for Text Box accept only number and dot(.) operator i.e decimal number. when am pressing the key?

Hi Ranjan Try this one.. private void textBox1_KeyPress(object sender KeyPressEventArgs e) { if ((e.KeyChar 57) && (e.KeyChar != 8 && e.KeyChar !=46)) { e.Handled = true; } } The character codes for Numeric values lies between 48 and 57  As we use Textbox for User Inputs we have discarded the backspace and dot (.) here which has a key character value 46.
