As Jagan said the two versions are not backwards compatible. Version 661 is for Sql Server 2008 R2 and version 612 is for Sql Server 2005. However if you don't want to pay for an upgrade you might be able to access the version 661 file with the free SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition: http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/en/us/editions/express.aspx

Hi Its clear that your Sql server does not support MDF file version 661. So we need to install Sql server which supports MDF file version 661
