The IPV6 Addresses not displaying in proper format.

Hi I am using .net framework 4.0 and windows xp sp3. In my Application I need to generate the IPV6 Addresses. I am able to generate them successfully. But while displaying I am getting problem. Note :-- This is not for all scenarios. e.g : 0:0:0:0:0:ffff:c00b:1401 -- displaying as ::ffff: 192.11.20.1 [Means last 2 blocks are displaying as IPV4 ] I have installed IPV6 stack in my machine also as it is windows XP.. This is not a bug. What I found is for a certain pattern this is happening  i.e for IPV4MappedIPV6 Addresses(These are the IPV4 addresses represented in IPV6 Manner) only output coming like IPV6 MIxed with IPV4. Good news is microsoft has given one property to restrict such IPAddresses  i.e. IsIPv4MappedToIPv6. This property is true if it is an IPV4 address represented as IPV6 and false if it is a complete IPV6 Address. But bad news is u can not use this property if u r not using .net Framework 4.5 Hope this article will helpful to all. Thanks Swapnasagar
